Six Group companies win big at Greentech Safety Awards 2012

Six Essar companies took home top awards at the 11th Greentech Safety Awards 2012, held in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, on July 12, 2012. The annual awards, which were declared in mid-June this year, are presented by the Greentech Foundation, New Delhi, for outstanding achievement in safety management in various industry categories.





Essar Power, Hazira, bagged a Gold award, as did Essar Steel Pune Facility (ESPF) and Vizag Facility, in the Metal & Mining sector.


Silver awards were won by Essar Bulk Terminals (EBTL) Hazira in the Ports & Terminal sector; Heavy Engineering Services (EHES), Hazira, in the Engineering sector; and Bhander Power, Hazira.


Senior Essar executives accepted the trophy and certificate on behalf of their respective companies at the awards ceremony.
