NTPC bags awards in CSR and Environment Protection
The Greentech Foundation has presented two honorary awards to NTPC Bongaigaon in New Delhi. The power plant won trophies for rural development at the 9th Annual Greentech CSR and environment protection India Awards at the 22nd Annual Greentech Environment Award 2022. On August 24,2022, Shri Ekonthung Ngullie, AGM (EMG), and Shri Shashi Shekhar, AGM (HR), were presented with the award at an event in Guwahati.

The Greentech Environment Awards 2022 were given in honor of responsible, forward-thinking actions taken in pursuit of sustainable objectives that reduce carbon footprint, enhance environmental protection, and bring about long-lasting changes for the betterment of the environment in which we work and live. The success was acknowledged by Shri Subrata Mandal, Executive Director, NTPC Bongaigaon, who also urged the departments and staff to keep up the good job.
